She received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001, and an M.Phil. from Trinity College at the University of Cambridge, England, in 2003. Since then, she has worked in many scientific capacities, including a cognitive neuroscience research lab studying the effects of meditation on the brain. Amanda is currently working as a clinical writer for a non-profit healthcare research institution, ECRI Institute, in Plymouth Meeting, PA. In this role, she analyzes evidence on emerging healthcare technologies.
