Melissa Peters graduated cum Laude with a Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education degree. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Ball State University with a major in Intrapersonal Relations and minors in Math and Childhood Development. She received Water Safety and Life Guard Instructor certificates through the American Red Cross and a Personal Training Instructor certificate through the American College of Sports Medicine. She completed Master level courses at Indiana University and enjoyed 12 years marketing for an automotive company where she integrated her experience in teaching to execute online market strategies that lead to International business expansion. Melissa has worked with clients of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels. She has taught grades k-12 in person and third grade online. She has a passion for understanding the role of nutrition in cognitive function. Her thesis, Alzheimer's Prevention: What Science Suggests about Implementing Nutritional and Lifestyle Changes, supports her post graduate ambition to champion students and clients in the effective management of nutrition and lifestyle programs that lead to optimal cognitive function throughout life.
