Sandi Ford graduated Summa cum Laude with a Master of Science in Health and Nutrition degree. Her thesis, The Rising Prevalence of Celiac and Gluten Sensitivity, Misdiagnosis, and the Dangers Posed to Long-Term Health, is evidence of her knowledge. Sandi is a Clinical Herbalist and has been sharing her passion for healthy living, good food, and herbal medicine for over fifteen years. She is core faculty at the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine, is a guest lecturer at other schools and local colleges, in addition to leading medicinal plant walks and maintaining a practice in Asheville, NC. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree at The Evergreen State College, and has studied at The Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine, The California School of Herbal Studies, The Australasian College of Herbal Studies. Topics that are in the forefront for Sandi include the gluten celiac spectrum and its far reaching effects in the body as well as aiding people in healthy weight gain or loss. Her future includes seeing herself as a practitioner that is known for being highly motivating, supportive, and a great listener who walks her talk. As a lifelong learner, Sandi is currently pursuing introductory training that will allow her to teach classes at her local YMCA including pilates training and personal coaching.
