"Art and Science of Choosing the Appropriate Therapeutic Diet" with Liz Lipski, PhD, CCN, CHN

Many people with health conditions have special dietary needs and benefit from specific types of foods and dietary approaches. How do we choose the best diet for each client that we work with or for ourselves? There are numerous diets recommended by health professionals and various organizations, such as the elimination diet, gluten free, gluten-casein free, low glycemic, ketogenic, candida, body ecology, gut and psychology syndrome (GAPS), specific carbohydrate, high fiber-high carbohydrate, low-calorie, traditional diets, and several others. This presentation will discuss key points and strategies that will help guide you to determine the best diet for each person.
